About
Taylor “Tei” Lindstrom is a writer.
And she wrote that sentence with a straight face.
Seriously, she writes business and technical copy, journalism, plays, screenplays, and fiction, in declining order of interest but ascending order of likelihood that anyone will ever see the finished product. Also, interestingly, the likelihood that she will be paid. Perhaps all she needs is a monetary incentive to get that novel finished. Any takers?
She does all this writing in beautiful Boulder, CO, but she has lived in Oakland, Berkeley, San Francisco, Chicago, New York, Washington D.C., and Rome, so she knows what’s up.
Eventually, she will have a website for her professional status, but that will be after she masters Dreamweaver CS3, and anyone who has seen her attempt to maneuver a microwave knows this is a long road she’s slogging.
She can be reached at taylor dot lindstrom at gmail dot com.
You are fucking hilarious. I don’t think I’ve ever related to someone as much as with your last line. I’m currently drowning in my technical illiteracy too. Wah.
It sucks you don’t live in NY anymore, I am in dire need of some cool new friends.

Oh-hoh, you picked a good weekend to ask about that, my friend. I’m back in NYC for the moment for reasons I have to go get into in a blog post, but I know some very awesome people you should meet.

Well they can get to know me well if you direct them to MakeItbetter. If they agree that I am not crazy, I don’t drink much, but I eat well, so have them send some love.

Hey Tei! I can’t seem to find an email addy for you so I’m posting this here…I don’t know how long you’ve lived in Boulder but if you haven’t discovered Hoshi Motors - http://www.hoshimotors.net/ - check them out. They specialize in Honda repair (although I don’t know if they do body work) and they’re fabulous. I’m in Denver so it’s a bit out of my way, but my mother lives in Louisville and has been taking her hondas to them for 20 years.

Nicole: Will do.
Lisa: This is hilarious. I dated the son of Hoshi Motors’ owner. I know all about ‘em. Thanks for the recommendation!

Wait, what? what is this madness? What’s happened to me?
You didn’t link to your blog, mojo. How am I supposed to find you?
Oh, no, wait. You did earlier. It’s all good. Dude, insatiable curiosity will kill me.

I am looking forward to the day I can say I am a writer. So far, it’s awkward to say to people that I WANT to be a writer… but I’m really starting to get the hang of saying it to myself, whose opinion is quite crucial in this whole deal.
Anyways, I just subscribed today, and am glad I did! Looking forward to reading more. Uhh, when I’m not .. ummmm… writing, that is. Yeah.
